Buyer Beware

You have probably heard that warning before but it just doesn’t seem stong enouugh for what I am about to tell you.

One scam that I have recently become aware of is that of selling stolen web sites. What the thief does in these cases is to find some popular web site with lots of good content. They then proceed to steal a copy of all of that content and create their own web site using a different container (so that the site looks different) along with all of the stolen content. They also set up advertising on the site so as to earn an income from those who visit the site.
